DESCRIPTION OF THE TRAINING COURSE
Digital transformation is intended to empower all people by providing opportunities offered by ICTs, such as IoT, to create a more inclusive digital society. This course is jointly organized by ITU, IoT Academy & ICT Research Institute and aims to equip participants with the knowledge on the role of digital transformation in realizing IoT-driven accessibilities for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) through the use of enabling technologies and assistive tools.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon completion of this training course, participants will be able to:
- Comprehend the concept of “Digital Transformation” and its role in enhancing IoT- driven accessibilities using fundamentals to emerging digital technologies.
- Build knowledge on the fundamentals of accessibility for PWD and how accessibility can be provided at promising levels
- Familiarize with IoT- driven enabling technologies as well as assistive tools for persons with disabilities and persons with specific needs in detail.
- Learn some practical use cases and appropriate assistive tools for PWD.
